The Estimator is responsible for analyzing, coordinating, estimating and responding to requests for quotations. The Estimator identifies customer needs and proposes innovative, customized solutions for the marine industry using the strength of Techsol Marine’s technical expertise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read and analyze tender documents, plans, specifications and addenda.
- Evaluate and discuss customer needs. Analyze and develop a proposal for electrical products and services.
- Prepare quotations and submit them in a timely manner.
- Assist in commercial and technical negotiations
- Support customers in the development of concepts and new products.
- Documentation and maintenance of up-to-date market data
- Follow-up with customers
- Provide critical information to the project management and engineering teams.
REQUIREMENTS
- Completion of a college or university degree in electrical engineering or other relevant training;
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience relevant to the position,
- Must be bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken.
